1. I send you a detailed 'creative questionnaire' to fill in so I can get a clear picture of who you are, what you do, and what you stand for. Your vision, personal values and passions are important as is how you would like to be positioned within the current marketplace.
The questionnaire also defines the scope of works required so I can quote accordingly. For example, are you going to supply the copy yourself or do you need me to write it for you? Do you have a collection of images you would like to use, or will we need to budget for stock photography? How many pages do you want your website to have? etc etc
2. Once we agree the scope of works and design direction (the creative brief), I will design three concepts that will work across your chosen formats (i.e. business cards, postcards, website etc).
3. You will choose one creative concept to move forward to design development stage.
4. The design is finalised across your chosen formats, copy is written and/or finessed, high resolution images are purchased, and final artwork is produced. The artwork is then signed off by you (the client) and the print/production process can commence.
Cost is of course a key consideration for any small business. I understand your need to stay within a fixed budget, and work accordingly - keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
